Modular home company to locate in Marion County

COLUMBIA, Miss. (AP) - Unity Homes, a manufacturer of modular homes, will locate a facility in Marion County.

Gov. Haley Barbour said Tuesday that Unity Homes will invest $6 million in an 86,000 square-foot plant in the Marion County Industrial Park.

The company expects to hire about 50 employees by September 2008. Officials said full employment would be about 140 people.
